An international freight train loaded with auto parts departed from the China-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) Logistics Cooperation Base for Uzbekistan on Monday, marking the 8,000th international freight train handled by the base since its operation.
In celebration of the Lantern Festival, Gaoyou City launched the 2026 Lantern Show in Yuchengyi Street on February 28.
Originating in ancient China's Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), the Qintong Boat Festival has been said to be held in memory of ancestors and ancient heroes. Hundreds of boats with more than 10,000 polers aboard gathered here on Monday for this year's festival, during which each boat competed in a speed challenge.
